This is the word of Mr Adekunle Olatunji, a resident of Abule-oja, who came to the lagoon Front University of Lagos (UNILAG) prostrate started loud chanting, incantation, vibration and sweating, subsequent slept off at the scene.

In his possession were sacrilege including the cross of Jesus Christ, a little calabash contained unidentified powder, a bird fader wrapped with a red cloth.

Worshipping God with a whole heart and mind, strength, because God’s power supersedes all other powers, God is the protector in times of trouble or any unseen evil, but contrary in the case of Olatunji.

The action of Olatunji attracts People attention to the scene, amongst the spectators were the security personnel in charge of the lagoon front and students.

When contacting one of the security operative who crave anonymity said “we don’t allowed such things to happen in this environment.” in the possession of the young man was a charm wrapped inside white paper and tied up with red cloth.

The security officer further added that ‘this lagoon front is a recreation meant for students who come here to read their books and discussed vital issues regarding educational and ceremonies such as naming, birthday anniversary, baptism, and many more functions.

“When people come for an inquiry we direct them to school’s Auditorium management before making use of this environment, they will obtain a payment receipt from the Auditorium management before grant them a permission.

He added that the amount depends on the numbers of people, one to 25 is N10,000.00 and reason of such payment is for the upkeep of the environment and part is for internal generated revenue of the school ‘

Afterward the young man resuscitated he said “i was praying to my God and nothing else thank you”

One amongst the students that witnessed the events said “this is not god’s worship, god did not said we should worshiped him in this way, this is a sacrilege” the end.

A gang of an armed robbers invaded Bulus and Sons Company limited Killed three, injured one of the employees, and went away with millions of naira stashed for the salaries of its employees.

This men of the underworld Numbered about eight on Thursday June, 13th 2013 at about 8:00PM assailed our company, the hoodlums gained access in the company’s building through the back fence, the company which is situated at No. 1 Omowunmi street, Mushin-Lagos accosted the security men that were on their legitimate assignment at the company’s gate, were disarmed, tied and seriously beaten up by the hoodlums, they however untied one among the security men and asked him to take them to the offices, the hoodlums whom their faces was masked first encroached reception and commanded the attendants to prostrate, one among the receptionist dared them on an attempt to disarmed one of the hoodlums, the armed robbers got exasperated and opened fire on them killing three of them .

The armed men walked straight to the cashier’s office and asked him to cooperate with them by given them the employees’ salary he cashed in the bank or they kill him, cashier denied the allegation that he went to the bank to withdraw hence the office was ransacked and discovered the cash was kept inside save, broke and empty the quantity of cash that was meant for the employee’s salary worth =N=10,000,000 the security man that was used to achieved there motive called and informed the manager, subsequent the injured cahier was rushed to the hospital for medical attention.

  1. Journalism: film review of this type exposed the reader with the latest news and information about the most recent film releases. These review tend to emphasize on the most important and the specific type of film, in other word this review tend to note such important information as the film’s star. Film review of this type are fall within two categories: journalism of opinion; which present carefully taught  position on a film  backed up  with background information and example, and journalism of taste, a simple evaluation of the film,

 

  1. Advertising: the primary aspect of this film review is to publicize and to persuade a reader to go and watch the film. Reviewer who  who engage in this type of reviewing regard themselves as providing services certainly to the studio and to the readers by functioning as a guide to what is currently available at their local multiplex.

 

  1. Criticism: this kind of reviews generally brings the brief description of the film while focusing on the analysis and evaluation of the film’s artistic merit.

 

  1. Rhetoric writing: the people who are serious interested in film often write a reviews that borders  on essays and that are judged  as much as their literary merit as on their cinematic content this type of assay are  often grouped together and publish by academic press or an independent publish in company.

visitor to the lagoon front were disappointed at what the saw recently , as the lagoon was flooded and normal activities were put on hold at the serene environment . this was caused as a sequel of downpour  that lagos has been experienced lately.

student and staff within the school and people from outside the school community came to the lagoon for various reason :read, relax, group studies , water baptism,relax and most common couples are seen having a romantic moment with each other . this have all stopped due to the new development . the lagoon front is opposite third mainland bridge . lagoon front is a place where almost every body in the university goes for one thing or the other, the lagoon front is an extension of Atlantic ocean , reacting to the development , a student of marine science said” it is expected as everybody knows it is rainy season and meteorologist have predicted the high rainfall “

in addition to these  miss Olayemi Oyekan of the Department of philosophy along side with her friend admonished that

there was an astonished at the lagoon Front university of Lagos , on Friday a young man suspected to be ritualist came by the water side facing the river as he started praying subsequent incantation and vibration with loud however fell down and he was sweating people’s attention were drawn to the scene .

ASSIGNMENT : UNILAG STUDENT WINS BIG

It was a spectacular scene at the university of Lagos as a student won free gift of 10,000 Naira for football questions . the occasion was the hosting of the Nairabet competition which is a sport betting company in Nigeria , the stage was set with the mass communication department unilag hosting the show’ Wale Obayanu who is a student of chemistry in the institution did not known what fate he had in store for on that day. The programme was an entertaining one which had other side attraction like comedy, and music part from entertaining questions from the student. the show started with the selection of students who were ten and later narrowed to the lucky one Obayanu who answered about 10 questions. Mr Obayanu expressed joy said “student should play the game as it is a fair game not a scam as people thought.” the chairman of the company Mr Olakunle Shobowale said “Nigerians have now got to the chance to make money while they show there knowledge of the football” although some student complained of the questions asked which they thought was too difficult for them to win any money. Dimeji Akinbode praised the company for its operations , the programme was fairly successful one as a student got to know about the company which was the
aims of the company
